BHEL Ramachandrapuram Hyderabad is inviting online applications from all eligible and interested candidates for engaging them as Trade Apprentices for a period of one year under the Apprentices Act 1961. Candidates
who have already undergone apprenticeship training or who have job experience of one year or more after the attainment of ITI shall not be eligible for applying.

Age:
The Minimum Age should be 18 Years (as on 01.09.2024) and maximum age is 27 years (as on 01.09.2024) in respect of general candidates. Relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST; 03 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) & 10
years for PwD (with minimum 40% disability).
Dependents of regular employees (Serving/Retired/ Deceased) will be given additional relaxation of 03 years
in the upper age limit.
Education Qualification: Matric/SSC pass and ITI as a regular full time candidate with minimum 60% marks in ITI for General/EWS/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and 55% for SC/ST candidates.
Candidates who have passed ITI from National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) only are eligible to apply
for apprenticeship.
Year of Passing:
Candidates who have completed ITI in or after 2021 will be eligible to apply. Dependents of
regular employees
(Serving/Retired/Deceased) will be given additional relaxation of 03 years in year of
completing ITI.
Selection procedure: Panel of merit list will be drawn on the basis of Marks obtained in the Assessment Test.
Reservation for Dependents of regular employees-Serving/Retired/Deceased: As per company rules.
Statutory Reservations: Reservation for SC/ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), EWS (Economically Weaker Section) and PwD as applicable will be followed. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), PwD, EWS have to produce applicable original certificates at the time of document verification, failing which the candidature of the applicant will be cancelled. Candidates who do not come under non-creamy layer will be considered as General. The candidate has to produce latest OBC (non-creamy layer) certificate issued on or after 01.09.2023. A self-declaration regarding OBC (non-creamy layer) will be taken at the time of verification
of documents. EWS Category Certificate should have been issued on or after 01.04.2024.
Applicants from Telangana state will be given preference.
Stipend: Candidates selected as Trade Apprentices shall be paid monthly stipend as per Apprenticeshipguidelines.
Health: Candidate should possess good health. At the time of joining, they have to produce health certificate
duly certified by Authorized Medical Officer.
Procedure to apply:
STEP-1

1 B. After registration apply to “BHEL Ramachandrapuram Hyderabad” in their respective trade through Apprenticeship portal (I https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in )
Candidate Instruction Manual is to be followed (copy enclosed).
STEP-2 Applying for BHEL, Ramachandrapuram, Hyderabad
• Visit BHEL, Hyderabad web site i.e. https://hpep.bhel.com/.
• Open the link ‘Engagement of Trade Apprentices 2024-25’. Click on ‘Apply’.
• Create Account by providing Apprenticeship Registration number, Date of Birth and Mobile No.
• Log in with Apprenticeship Registration number and DOB (ddmmyy) as password.
• Fill the required details correctly, upload all the required documents and submit.
• Take a print out of the completed application by using ‘Print’ option.
• The ‘Edit’ option can be used by giving Apprenticeship Registration number followed by Date of Birth as entered in the first application. Edit option can be exercised only once. In case, edit option is used,
the print out has to be taken again.
• There is no need to send print out of application to BHEL, RC Puram, Hyderabad except those applying against ‘Dependents of regular employees-Serving/Retired/ Deceased’.
Written Test:
Selection shall be based on performance of the candidates i.e., on the basis of marks obtained by them in the
Written Test (Duration 60 Minutes) and meeting notified eligibility criteria.
The Written Test will comprise of 50 questions from the respective trade syllabus with Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) consisting of four options with one correct option. There will be no negative marking.
Important Note of Aadhaar & e-kyc verification Candidates must ensure that while registering on apprentice portal, their Aadhaar details including Aadhaar
number, Date of Birth, gender, spelling of name of self/father etc. are correct. The details should also match with their SSC Certificate. Also ensure that your profile is completed using Aadhaar verification stage. In case of discrepancy, please get the Aadhaar corrected from concerned agency.
Along with Aadhaar verification e-kyc verification is also mandatory in Apprenticeship registration. Candidates
need to fill Bank details & IFSC code correctly for e-kyc verification.
Forms to be submitted by Dependents of regular employees-Serving/Retired/ Deceased:
• Print out of completed application form (taken from https://hpep.bhel.com/).
• Form- I is required to be forwarded through Concerned HR Cell/Welfare Section.
Important Dates:
• Commencement & Closing of online application- 04.09.2024 to 13.09.2024
• Last date for submission of Form- I to HR-Recruitment section- 14.09.2024 (16.30 hrs)
• Tentative Date of Examination- 24.09.2024
Important Instructions:
• Candidates who are below 18 years of age shall not be considered for apprenticeship training.
• Candidates who have completed ITI through distance learning, part time and correspondence shall not be considered for apprenticeship training.
• Candidates who have passed ITI as a Private Candidate will not be eligible for apprenticeship.
• Candidates should register and apply to “BHEL Ramachandrapuram Hyderabad” in their respective trade in Apprenticeship portal ( https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) prior to applying for apprenticeship training in BHEL, RC Puram Hyderabad through https://hpep.bhel.com/ link without
fail.
• Future Communication, if any, will be given through e-mail. Candidates are advised to keep their e-mail active.
• No TA/DA will be paid for the Candidates, who have been short-listed and called for the Written Test/Verification /Selection process.
• No Transport/Hostel facility will be provided to the selected candidates.
• Passing Certificate and Mark sheets of Matric/SSC Certificate and ITI and SC/ ST/ OBC (non-creamy layer)/ PwD / EWS Certificates as applicable have to be uploaded in the portal while applying and also has to be submitted necessarily during the document verification, failing which the candidature of the applicant will be cancelled.
• Apprentices shall not have any right to claim regular employment on the basis of apprenticeship training at any point of time.
• Late/ incomplete applications will not be considered and no correspondence on this will be entertained.
