UCO Bank invites online application from candidates for engagement as apprentices under the Apprentice Act 1961 (as amended from time to time). Candidates are requested to apply Online through the website https://nats.education.gov.in
1. Candidates can apply for engagement in one state only.
2. Before applying, candidates are requested to ensure that they fulfill eligibility criteria for engagement on the date of eligibility.
3. Detailed information about the conduct of online written test/ interview, list of shortlisted candidates, and the results of the candidates provisionally qualified for selection will be made available on the Bank‟s website.
4. ALL REVISIONS/ CORRIGENDUM (IF ANY) WILL BE HOSTED ON THE BANK‟S WEBSITE ONLY. Candidates are advised to check Bank's website www.ucobank.com - career regularly for details and updates.
5. No hard copy of application or any other documents to be sent to this office. The Call letter/ advise, where required, will be sent by e-mail only (No hard copy will be sent).

B. Eligibility Criteria (As on 01.07.2024)
Nationality/ Citizenship
A candidate must be either (i) a Citizen of India or (ii) a subject of Nepal or (iii) subject of Bhutan or (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before Jan.1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that of a candidates belong to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt. of India.
Age
Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 01.07.2024 i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1996 and not later than 01.07.2004 (both dates inclusive)
Maximum age indicated is for unreserved and EWS candidates.
Please note that change of category submitted by the applicant will not be permitted at any stage.
Relaxation in upper age limit will be available as detailed below:

Candidates seeking age relaxation will be required to submit necessary certificate(s) in original along with photo- copies at the time of document verification or at any stage of the engagement process
Educational Qualification
Graduate degree from recognized University/ Institues approved by Govt. of India or its regulatory bodies. The result of the qualification must have been declared on or before 01.07.2024 and candidate must produce Mark Sheets and Provisional/ Degree Certificate issued from the University/ Institute/ College as and when required by the Bank.
C. Duration of Training
Total Duration of training will be one year from the date of contract.
D. Stipend
A monthly stipend of Rs 15000/- (including subsidy amount if any by Govt. of India) shall be paid to the apprentice during the period of apprenticeship.
The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits. UCO bank will make payment of Rs 10,500/- into the apprentices account on a monthly basis.
Government Share of stipend of Rs 4500/- will be directly credited to the apprentices Bank account through DBT mode as per extant guidelines.
E. Test of local language:
The candidates applying for training seats of a particular state, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in any one of the local languages of that State. The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process. It will be conducted during the process of document verification Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be engaged for apprentice. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the local language will not be required to undergo the language test.
F. Training Hours The daily hours of training will be as applicable to the clerical staff of the Bank.
G. Mode of Selection
I. Selection will be done through Screening and Personal interview of the shortlisted candidates at Bank„s sole discretion. However, in the event that a high volume of applications, the Bank reserves the right to conduct a written test at its sole discretion. In such case, the selection process may be conducted solely through the written test.
II. If selection process includes a written test, this will be communicated on the Bank‟s website www.ucobank.com->careers. A registration link for the written test, along with payment of requisite fee, will be made available on the Bank;s website. Candidates must registered for the written test to partcipate.
Failure to register for the written test will result in the candidate being disqualified from further participation in the selection process. Information regarding the written test, including the date, centre, pattern of test, will be provided on the Bank‟s website. Candidates are required to regularly check the website for updates.
III. The screening committee constituted by the Bank will examine whether the candidates fulfil the required eligibility criteria. No representation or correspondence will be entertained by the Bank in this regard.
IV. Candidates are required to score a minimum marks in interview/written test (For SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon). Minimum qualifying in interview/written test will be as decided by the Bank. Merit list will be drawn State wise and category wise. Candidates qualified in the test will be placed according to their interview/written marks in descending order in respective States and Categories. In case more than one candidate scores same marks as cut-off marks in the merit list (common marks at cut off point) such candidate will be ranked in the merit list according to their age in descending order in respective States and categories.
V. Bank reserves the right to change (cancel/ modify/ add) any of the criteria, method of selection and provisional allotment etc.
VI. The Bank reserves the right to reject any application not suiting the Bank‟s requirements without assigning any reason whatsoever and call only the candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria.
J. Procedure for Application: ONLINE
Candidates are required to have a valid Personal E-Mail ID and Contact Number. It should be kept active till completion of this engagement process. Bank may send call letters for written test/ personal interview on the registered E-Mail ID. In case, a candidate does not have a valid personal E-Mail ID, he/she should create his/her personal E-Mail ID before applying.
K. HOW TO APPLY
Candidate will have to register and complete his/her profile on NATS portal https://nats.education.gov.in (Student Register/ Student login), if not done before.
A list of documents needed for enrollment is available on the NATS portal under “Student Register” section. Please ensure all necessary documents ready before the you start the registration process.
Candidate will have to fill the Basic information, Education Details, Communication Details, Training Details,
and Bank details to complete his/her profile.

On completion of registration process, search for UCO Bank Apprenticeship Engagement and then apply.
After applying, the candidate can check for applications status from the application management.
