EdCIL (India) Limited, on behalf of The Ministry of Education and Skills Development (Royal Government of Bhutan), invites online applications from Indian PGT teachers for recruitment to the following teaching posts for higher secondary schools of Bhutan Government on contract basis:

• ICT/Computer Science/IT
• Chemistry
• Physics
The tenure of posting shall be for minimum of 2 year and the teachers may be posted anywhere in Bhutan. The tenure may be renewed based on mutual agreement of the employer (the Royal Government of Bhutan) and the candidate.Candidates are required to apply online through EdCIL website http://edcilteacherrecruitment.com.
No other means/mode of submission of applications will be accepted. The schedule of online application is as under:

QUALIFICATION & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
The Educational Qualification & Eligibility for the PGT Teachers will be as follows:
• Master’s Degree in the relevant field from a recognized university with at least 60% marks.
• Bachelor’s of Education (B. Ed.) Degree from a recognized university is mandatory for
teachers applying for the posts of PGT Mathematics, PGT Chemistry and PGT Physics.
• Bachelor’s of Education (B. Ed.) Degree from a recognized university is preferable (not
mandatory) for the post of PGT Computer Science / ICT.
• Proficiency in teaching in English Language.
• The PGT teacher must have 5 year’s work experience in teaching in relevant subject in 11thand 12thGrades.
• High proficiency in use of technology for education.
• Maximum age of 55 years as on 16th Jan 2024 (date of start of online applications).
• Maintain good physical fitness and possess no medical conditions that may hinder the
delivery of services during the contract term. Candidates shall be required to submit a
medical certificate at the time of joining.
• The Cut-Off date for determining various applicable eligibility criteria (Educational
Qualifications, Age Limit, Experience etc.) will be 16th Jan 2024 (date of start of online
applications)
REMUNERATION
(i) The teachers shall be paid a consolidated gross remuneration of Rs. 1,40,000/- (Rupees
One Lakh Forty Thousand only) per month from the date of joining.
(ii) The tenure of posting shall be for minimum of 2 year and the teachers may be posted and relocated anywhere in Bhutan depending on the requirement of the Royal Government of Bhutan.
(iii) The Royal Government of Bhutan shall provide all necessary assistance to the candidates for work permit as applicable.
(iv) Leave, medical benefits, travel passage and other terms of employment will be as per the contract with the Royal Government of Bhutan.
HOW TO APPLY
i. Candidates are required to apply online through EdCIL website EdCIL website
http://edcilteacherrecruitment.com. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
ii. Candidates are required to have a valid personal email ID. It should be kept active during the
currency of this recruitment. All the details/information regarding the recruitment process shall be shared with the candidates through their registered email ID. Under no circumstances,
he/she should share/ mention email ID to any other person.
iii. The name of the candidate, Date of Birth and his/ her Parents’ name etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the Class X certificates/ mark sheets. Any change /
alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
iv. Carefully fill in the complete details in online application form. Scan and upload your recent
photograph and signature at the appropriate places as per instructions contained in the online application format and submit the same. Login id and password would be provided through e-mail on registration and keep it till completion of all the steps for successful submission of application and for future records.
v. The application printout with photograph affixed will also have to be submitted during document verification at the time of interview along with the original self-attested copies of certificates in support of Age, Qualification, Experience, etc. as applicable.
vi. The call letters shall be sent to the candidates on their registered mail ids. No correspondence shall be entertained by the EdCIL nor EdCIL shall send separate intimation to the candidates
to this effect.
vii. Before starting to fill-up the online application, keep ready with you the following
details/documents/information:
- E-Mail ID;
- Personal and Educational qualification details (Marksheets of standard X (10th), XII (12th), final marksheets of Graduation and Post-graduation);
- Scanned Copy of Recent Photograph (not more than 3 weeks old in jpg/jpeg format);
- Scanned Copy of Signature with Black ink pen (in jpg/jpeg format);
- Size of the image should be minimum 20 kb and maximum 50 kb;
- Work experience certificate with last pay drawn;
- Passport or Voter-ID as ID-proof
- The last date for submission of application is 15th February 2024 at 11:00 PM (IST
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES
1. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for the above posts.
2. The vacancies indicated above are tentative and subject to change.
3. The candidates may be posted anywhere in Bhutan.
4. EdCIL will not enter into any correspondence with the candidates about their candidature.
5. EdCIL may take up the verification of eligibility of the candidate at any point of time prior to
or after the completion of the selection process.
6. The candidates applying for the recruitment process should ensure that they fulfill all
eligibility conditions for selection. Their admission at all the stages of the process will be
purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility condition(s).
7. Mere issue of admit card/call letter to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature
has been finally cleared.
8. No age or category relaxation will be given to the candidates.
9. The candidates working in Government organizations are required to submit
NOC/VIGILANCE/SERVICE certificate at the time of document verification/interview, if
shortlisted.
10. No modifications are allowed after candidate submits the online application form. If any
discrepancies are found between the data filled by the candidate online and the original
testimonials, his candidature is liable to be rejected. Hence, no request for change in
particulars of any candidate shall be entertained at a later stage.
11. Any dispute with regard to this recruitment shall be subject to the court having its jurisdiction
in Delhi only.
12. Incomplete application in any respect shall be rejected and no further correspondence shall
be entertained. In addition, no other means/mode of submission of application shall be
accepted under any circumstances.
13. For queries, candidates are advised to visit the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section
uploaded on the website.
14. All correspondence/announcements with respect to above recruitment process shall be
done through e-mail or notices on the EdCIL website. It is the responsibility of the candidate
to download/print the Admit Card/Interview Letters. EdCIL will not be responsible for any
loss of email sent, due to invalid/wrong Email ID provided by the candidate or due to any
other reason. Candidate’s E-mail Id should be valid till the recruitment process is over. The
candidates are also requested to check the spam folder in their inbox from time-to-time.

16. Candidates in their own interest are advised, not to wait till the last date & time to apply.

17. Candidates who had previously applied for deployment to Bhutan via EdCIL advertisement
no ‘EdCIL/Bhutan Secondment – STEM Teachers/03-2023/01’ published on 3rd Mar 2023 are
not eligible to apply for the current openings.
18. The candidate is liable to be disqualified from the recruitment process and debarred either
permanently or for a specified period, at any stage of recruitment in EdCIL on account of the
following:
a) Impersonating or procuring impersonation by any person; or
b) Resorting to any irregular means in connection with his/her candidature during selection
process; or
c) Obtaining support for his/her candidature by any means, such candidate in addition to
rendering himself/herself liable to criminal prosecution; or
d) Furnishing of false, tampered, fabricated particulars or suppress any material
information while submitting the application or at any stage during the recruitment
process.
19. There shall be two rounds of interview, a preliminary online interview followed by a physical
interview.
20. A panel comprising of officials from India and the Royal Government of Bhutan (RGoB) shall
shortlist the eligible candidates for online interview. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms
does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. EdCIL/ MEA/ RGoB reserves the right
to call only the requisite number of candidates for the interview after preliminary screening/
short-listing with reference to candidate’s qualification, suitability, experience etc.
21. The shortlisted candidates shall be informed about the schedule of interview via their
registered mail ids only. Based on the online interview, candidates shall be shortlisted for
physical interview.
22. Short listed candidates will be informed about the venue, date and schedule of physical
interviews on their registered mail ids only. Physical interview shall be organized in New
Delhi. All original documents should be produced at the time of interview for verification. In
case any document is missing, it may result in cancellation of the candidature.
23. Request for change of Interview date / venue will NOT be entertained under any
circumstances.
