Electronics Corporation of India Limited is looking for dynamic, experienced and result oriented personnel for the following positions purely on contract basis to work at Electronic  Manufacturing Services Division (EMSD), other Divisions & sites across India.

Salary:  25,000/-* 

Total Posts:300

(136 posts reserved for UR, 15 posts for EWS, 77 posts for OBC, 50 Posts for SC & 22 Posts for  ST category) 


Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 25,000/- for 1st year, Rs. 28,000/-  for 2nd year and 31,000/- for 3rd to 5th year of contract respectively. 


During deployment to the sites, selected candidates will also be eligible for TA/DA and other  benefits in addition to the above consolidated pay as per Company Rules. 


The tenure of the contract for above positions would be for a period of one (1) year extendable  upto five (5) years depending upon the project requirements and performance of the candidate  (or) coterminous with the project whichever is earlier. 


A First Class Engineering Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electrical  Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering / Computer Science  Engineering/ Information Technology with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from any  recognized Institution / University. 


The candidate should have minimum one year Post Qualification experience out of which 6 
months should be industrial experience. Experience in sealing, distribution, polling,  commissioning, repair and maintenance of EVMs, VVPATs including FLC or having Industrial  exposure in Production, Repair/Maintenance of Electronic equipment will be preferred. 1 year  of apprenticeship training shall also be considered as experience. 


The merit list will be prepared, based on the aggregate percentage obtained in BE/ B Tech 
and work experience, as indicated below:- 
  • 80% of Marks will be allotted for aggregate marks scored in BE/ B Tech. obtained in  Essential educational qualification 
  • 20% Marks will be allocated for work experience(5 Marks for min. stipulated work  experience and additional 2.50 marks for every additional 06 months of experience up  to a max of 20 marks) 
In case of any tie in the above, class 12th followed by 10th and DOB shall be considered for 
arriving at the final merit 

Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Document Verification at New Delhi zonal Office. 
Candidates will be shortlisted in the order of merit based on their aggregate marks obtained 
in the degree in required qualification and number of years of experience as indicated herein 
above in the ratio of 1:2. 


Reservations & Age relaxations will be as per Govt., directives for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD. 

Class: For SC/ST Candidates the minimum marks in the qualifying examination shall be 50%. 

Age: Upper Age limit as on 30.11.2021 should not be more than 30 years for General & EWS 
candidates. The upper age limit will be relaxed for SC, ST candidates by 5 years and for OBC 
candidates by 3 years. For candidates belonging to PWD category having minimum 40% 
disability or more, will get 10 years’ relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the 
categories mentioned above. 

The upper age limit is further relaxed by 5 years for candidates who had ordinarily been  domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989. 


a) Before applying, candidate should read the complete advertisement carefully and  ensure that he / she has fulfilled eligibility criteria of the post stated in the  advertisement in all respects. In case if it is noticed that the candidate has furnished  false or incorrect information with respect to eligibility criteria such candidates will  not be allowed to join even after issue of provisional offer letter. 

b) Candidates have to compulsorily provide the CGPA conversion to percentage of marks  as per the guidelines provided by their University. 

c) The Degree of Disability for PwD Candidates is 40% & above. 

d) The Management reserves the right to relax the stipulated criteria in case of  exceptional candidates and limit the number of candidates to be called to fill the posts. 

e) All qualifications should be from an Indian University/Institute recognized by  AICTE/Appropriate Statutory Authority.

g) The selected candidates may be assigned any activities to work any sites and locations  anywhere in India.

2) All original certificates in support of his / her date of birth, identity (Govt. issued only  like Aadhar, Driving License, Passport etc.), qualification, experience, Covid  vaccination certificate, latest caste & disability (PWD) certificates, if any along with  one set of photo copies. 

3) Category Certificate in support of SC/ST/EWS/OBC (Non-creamy layer), in the  prescribed proforma as per Government guidelines and self-undertaking for OBC (Noncreamy layer) status in the prescribed format, a valid certificate for Persons with  Disabilities (PWD); Discharge certificate in case of Ex-servicemen, if applicable. 

4) If claiming age relaxation as candidate from J&K, relevant certificate.  Failure to do so will entail summary rejection of his/her candidature.
