Applications are invited from qualified and eligible candidates for filling up of the posts of Paramedical and other’s on Contract/Out Sourcing basis in Government Medical College, Srikakulam, Srikakulam District.

GMC Srikakulam | Recruitment of Paramedical Posts 

The post-wise Vacancies, Qualifications & age are as follows:

1.Physical Director - 1 Posts

Must possess Master’s Degree in Physical Education; Desirable-passed National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR or by the UGC or SLET.

2 Bio Medical Engineer -1 Posts

Graduation in Biomedical Engineering from University recognized by UGC. CONTRACT

3 Lab Technician Gr.II- 5 Posts

a) DMLT / BSc.MLT or equivalent in Govt. / Govt. Recog. Institute

b) Must be registered in AP Paramedical Registration Board with upto date renewal.

4 Data Entry Operator 4 Posts

a) Must hold a Bachelors Degree of any university in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, State Act or Provincial Act or an Institution recognized by the UGC or any equivalent qualification.

b) Must have passed the course in ‘’Proficiency in Office Automation with usage of Computers and associate software” from institute recognized by the Govt.of. A.P.(PGDCA/DCA).

5 Attenders- 5 Posts

a)Must have passed SSC or its equivalent exam recognized by Govt.of AP. 

6.Assistant Electrical /Wireman -1 Posts

Must possess a trade certificate in Electrician / wireman trade issued by any ITI in the state or its equivalent certificate.

7 Lab Attendants - 2 Posts

a)Must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination.

b)Must hold pass certificate in Lab Attendant course (or) Intermediate (Lab Assistant vocational course) or any equivalent course from recognized institution.

c)Must be registered in AP Paramedical Registration Board with upto date renewal

Age: Maximum, age” 42 Years for OC and 5 years relaxation for upper age limit for SC/SC/BC and 3 years for Ex-Service Men and 10 years for Physically handicapped persons upto a Maximum for 45 years. The Maximum age shall be recknoed as on 01.12.2021

Tentative Schedule:

1 Date of Notification 01.12.2021

2 Last date for submission of applications 15.12.2021 by 5 PM

3 Display of Provisional Merit list in District website calling grievances if any from the applicants             30.12.2021

4 Display of Final Merit List and selection list 05.01.2022

5 Issue of orders 10.01.2022

6 Joining of the selected candidates 17.01.2022 

How to apply:

a) Candidates shall submit their application forms along with enclosures at office of the Principal, Government Medical College, Srikakulam on or before last date of submission

b) All application covers should be super scribed on right top corner as Contract basis / Out Sourcing basis Recruitment-2021 – Application for the post of Paramedical & Other posts.

c) The following documents are to be submitted in the following order only.

1 Filled-in Application form with DD

2 Attested copy of marks memo of SSC (or) equivalent certificate

3 Attested copies of Marks memos of all years and Degree certificates of qualifying examination and APPMB registration certificate for the post of Lab. Technician / Lab. Attendant.

4 Attested copy of latest caste certificate (in case of SC/ST/BC)

5 Attested copies of study certificates from Class-IV to X where the candidates studied.

6 Attested copy o latest Physically handicapped certificate (if applicable)/ExServicemen

7 The experience Certificate on contract/Out Sourcing/Covid-19 should be enclosed with Higher authorities counter sign. 

Reservation:

a) There will be reservations in this recruitment in respect of Scheduled Tribes(ST), Scheduled Castes(S), backward Classes(BC), Economically Weaker Sections(EWS), Physically challenged (VH,HH,OH), Women, ex-Servicemen and Meritorious Sports Persons as per Rule 22 and 22(A) of AP State and Subordinate Service Rules 1996.

b) In the case of candidates who claim the benefit of reservation or relaxation from upper age limit on the basis of Caste/Tribe or community the basic document of proof of Community will be the certificate issued by the Revenue Authorities not below the rank of Tahsildar in the case of SC/ST/BC/EWS. Subsequent claim of change of Community will not be entertain.

c) The person with Disability means a person suffering from not less than 40% of any disability as certified by a medical authority except hearing impairment (HH), Hearing Impairment means loss of 60 dB or more in the better ear in the conversational range of frequencies which corresponds to 85 Db hearing threshold on the audiogram in the better ear i.e. 85 dB hearing level in audiogram-25 dB upper limit of normal hearing =60 dB hearing loss as p er provision under “Person with Disabilities Act.1995”.

d) Caste & Community: community certificate issued by the Competent Authority in terms of G,.O.Ms.No.58, SW(J) Dept., Dt. 12.05.1997 should be submitted appropriate time. As per AP State and Subordinate Service Rules, Rule 2(28). Explanation: In so far as claiming for SC reservation is concerned, no person who professes a religion different from Hinduism shall be deemed a member of Schedule Caste. However, Schedule Caste convert to Buddhism deemed to Schedule caste BCs, SCs, STs, & EWS belonging to other state or not entitled for reservation.

Reservation of Local Candidates:-

a. Reservation to the local candidate is applicable as provided in Article 371-D as  per G.O.Ms.674, GA(SPF-A) Dept., Dt.20.101975 and rules amendment from  time to time and as in force on the date of notification. The candidate claiming as local candidates should obtain the required study certificate  (from 4th class to 10th class or SSC) or Residence Certificate in the proforma  prescribed for those candidates who have not studied in any Educational Institutions as the case may be. The relevant certificate with authorize signature shall be produced as and when required.

Important note on Recruitment process and procedure of selection:

 a) The recruitment will be processed as per this notification and as per the rules and  instructions issued by the Government and also as decided by the District Selection Committee, Srikakulam from time to time in terms of respective Special Rules/Adhoc Rules governing the recruitment and the related G.Os.rules etc., are applicable.
